Rob Combs has been a licensed Realtor since 2009, and got his Idaho broker’s license in 2012. He is also a licensed agent in the state of Texas, where he lived and worked in the Austin market. Rob specializes in Residential Income Property for small and “first time” investors, and welcomes questions from anyone who is interested in learning how easy it is to build wealth & achieve financial independence by owning rental property.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Rob worked in radio broadcasting—-both on the air, and later as a station owner. When Rob first came to Idaho, he lived in Ketchum and worked at KSKI radio in Sun Valley. After a few years there, he moved to Boise in the mid nineties to work for J-105 Radio. He also spent time on the air at KBOI & KOOL-104, and eventually built and operated his own 50,000 watt radio station on 890 AM.
Rob was born and grew up in Iowa, and attended high school in St. Louis, where his mother was raised and his grandfather was a Realtor. As a result, he has been a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and obviously inherited the real estate gene from his grandfather. Rob went west to attend college, and has a degree in Economics from Colorado College in Colorado Springs. At present, Rob lives in west Boise with Semone Grinnell (who is also a Realtor), their 2 dogs (Bailey & Sophie) and a very verbal orange cat! (“the Kitty”)
